About Us | Site Map | Privacy Policy | Contact Us | ©2007 Intermountain Chapter of the STMAThe purpose of this Intermountain Chapter of the Sports Turf Managers Association (IMSTMA) is to give IMSTMA members an avenue to network with their peers and to meet regularly for educational opportunities to develop the theory and understanding of sports turf management and advance the art and science of managing that process.
We offer several programs to accomplish these goals. First, we offer Field Days in which our members meet for educational classes and hands on demonstrations. Second, we have an Adopt a Field Program. The purpose of Adopt of Field Program is to locate fields that are in need of renovation.Talk to the field owner about doing the renovation. This includes getting commitment from the field owners to allow a prescribed maintenance program for a year and to have a Sports Turf Manager oversee the field's maintenance program by working with the field's regular maintenance staff. Third, we offer leadership and teaching opportunities through service on our various committees.
