Mini Field Day at BYU's Miller Park
A Mini Field Day is an oppertunity for a small number of people the chance to learn Skinned Area Maintenance by getting their hands dirty so to speak. A Mini Field Day will be held at facilities that have already scheduled their end of season maintenance. The maintenance would normally be done by the facilities’ staff. Our hope by inviting a small group of individuals to participate is they will have the opportunity to learn these maintenance skills, hands on by doing. The Mini Fields day will be open to anyone wanting to learn these skills but we are going to target High School Coaches and their staff who have to do a lot of their own field maintenance due to budget limitations. We hope to reach people that normally would have few chances to learn these types of skills.
Another Mini Field Day will be held at Woods Cross High School in August. More Information to Follow.
Our Adopt a Field event has been postponed. We will let you know when we have it rescheduled.
The event will take place at: Valley Regional Park, he address is 2700 West 50th South in Taylorsville. Profile Products and Great Basin Turf Products are sponsoring the event.
